Piano covers of “Fine Line” drifted across the ceremony lawn at Covington Gardens as Autumn walked toward Cameron on May 24th — a moment that had been building since a high school crush, a global pandemic, and a lot of free snow cones. K2 Weddings provided DJ services with Sean and full wedding videography for Autumn and Cameron’s Ultimate Wedding Day package, and it’s exactly the kind of day that reminds us why we love this work.
The short version: Autumn and Cameron got married at Covington Gardens in Pleasant Garden, NC, with DJ Sean running the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and K2 Weddings’ videography team capturing the full day, including drone footage of the property’s wooded grounds. Their reception blended white uplighting, a heavy ABBA and Taylor Swift dance floor, and a private last dance to Twenty One Pilots.

A Love Story That Started With Snow Cones
Autumn and Cameron went to the same high school in North Carolina, though Autumn was a grade ahead and Cameron’s crush went unspoken for years. They reconnected in college, both back home because of COVID, and Cameron happened to work five minutes from Autumn’s job — close enough to stop by after work for free snow cones. That was June 2020. For the next three years, while they attended college in different cities, they made the 1-2 hour drive to see each other as often as they could.
Cameron proposed on May 31, 2025, in Charleston, SC. He booked a photographer for what he told Autumn was a low-key trip to a city they’d never explored, then walked her to Hampton Park on a perfect-weather morning after breakfast and a stroll downtown. He said his own nerves were “through the roof” — but the moment went exactly as planned.

The Day at Covington Gardens
Getting-ready coverage started at 2:00 PM, with Autumn and her bridesmaids at the Bridal House and Cameron and his groomsmen at the Groom’s Cabin. The afternoon moved through a series of first looks — bridesmaids, then father of the bride, then Autumn and Cameron together at 3:30 PM — before DJ Sean opened the 5:00 PM ceremony with a lineup built around instrumental covers: Samuel Da Silva’s “La Vie en Rose” for family seating, a “Turning Page” instrumental for the bridal party, and Piano Covers’ version of “Fine Line” for Autumn’s walk down the aisle.
Cocktail hour ran 5:30 to 6:30 PM with a curated mix of Sinatra, Fleetwood Mac, and Billie Eilish, and the reception kicked off with the wedding party introduced to Red Hot Chili Peppers and ABBA. Autumn and Cameron chose Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” for their own entrance and shared a first dance to her song “Lover.” The evening included a father-daughter dance to Miley Cyrus and a mother-son dance to Aerosmith, toasts from four members of the wedding party, and a cake cutting soundtracked by Natalie Cole.
Once the dance floor opened, DJ Sean built a set spanning Outkast, Fergie, ABBA, Gorillaz, and Sabrina Carpenter — with one firm rule from the couple: absolutely no line dancing, and no “Marry You” or “Dance Monkey.” White uplighting framed the tent for the rest of the night, and the celebration closed with a private last dance to Twenty One Pilots and a bubble exit at 10:00 PM.

K2’s Role: DJ, Videography, and Uplighting Under One Contract
Autumn and Cameron booked K2 Weddings’ Ultimate Wedding Day package, which brought DJ Sean and a full videography crew together under one contract — plus uplighting woven into the tent for the reception. K2’s videographers arrived two and a half hours ahead of the ceremony, to capture getting-ready moments at both the Bridal House and the Groom’s Cabin, the first looks, and exterior shots of the Covington Gardens grounds, with drone footage included as part of the package. The couple asked for a mix of sentimental and joyful moments in the final edit rather than a strictly formal cut — the kind of specific, personal direction that makes every K2 wedding film different from the last.
